I am a writer from the Kansas City area. My work spans a wide range of topics — since 2013, I have published op-ed articles, short stories, and poems, but my true focus is on medieval history.

My history writing can be found in publications for general audiences, like Medieval World, World History Encyclopedia, Cambridge University’s Camedieval, and Lancaster University’s Epoch History, as well as peer-reviewed journals like The Year’s Work in Medievalism and academic presses like Rounded Globe. My history research has won awards from The Kansas Association of Historians and Hare & Bell, while my poetry and fiction has been recognized by Kansas Voices, Mind’s Eye and The League for Innovation.
